  • Experience in building and management of grass-root tobacco control organization at country level
  • Experience in setting-up formal National coalition (structured network – Romanian Network for Smoking Prevention).
  • Project Management experience (including projects funded by American Cancer Society, Open Society Institute, Bloomberg initiative, European Commission, World Bank)
  • Experience in lobby and advocacy for FCTC ratification and implementation
  • In-deep knowledge of the FCTC (treaty, rules, implementation and monitoring process)
  • Good relations / cooperation with WHO-FCTC Secretariat
  • Interconnectivity with the EU institutions in Bruxelles and with more than 500 European organizations (GO and NGO) involved in Tobacco Control through the ENSP Network
  • Public policies development and fundraising abilities
  • Tobacco control research experience (Tobacco Industry documents research at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and public policies at OSI Budapest www.policy.hu/radu)
  • Social media experience, initiator of the “END TOBACCO IN EUROPE CAUSE” http://www.causes.com/causes/617334-end-tobacco-in-europe
  • Coordinator of the ENSP – European Smoking Cessation Guidelines (ESCG) and Quality Services (QS) project (available in English, Russian, Turkish and Romanian languages)
