I am the Director of LeLan Solutions, a Bristol-based social enterprise and specialist public health technology consultancy. I was the lead developer of the graphical user interface for the NICE suite of return on investment (ROI) tools, including all versions of the tool for Tobacco Control. Through other work with organisations including Smokefree South West, FRESH North East, Tobacco Free Futures, Action on Smoking and Health (ASH) and Brunel University, I also have extensive experience of analysing and interpreting tobacco-related datasets. My role in EQUIPT is to develop the initial Excel-based tools for the country-specific models (WP2) and to subsequently transfer the tools to a unified web-based platform (WP4). Due to the central role of the tool interfaces in the overall project, I will be working closely with other partners across all work packages.
