Marrit Berg, working towards an MSc in Health Sciences at Maastricht University, joined Health Economics Research Group (HERG) at Brunel University in April 2015 to conduct a research placement under the joint supervision of EQUIPT partners in Brunel (Dr Pokhrel) and Maastricht (Profs Evers and Hiligsmann). While at Brunel, Marrit will conduct a systematic review of the literature with an aim to identify the aspects of robust economic models that have been applied to estimate cost-effectiveness of smoking cessation interventions and have characteristics that might facilitate the transferability of the model from one context to the other. Her report is expected in the Autumn, 2015 and will inform WP3 of the EQUIPT project.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement No. 602270(EQUIPT)
